charming retreat near stunning gardens and hillsides

I was delighted by the breathtaking gardens and the serene stream that added to the charm of my stay, and I felt right at home in the cozy guest lounge where I enjoyed great conversations with other travelers.

The stay was thoroughly enjoyable, with an interesting old building that has been beautifully modernised. The location was perfect for exploring nearby hiking spots, and the plant-based meals were outstanding. I appreciated the excellent packed lunch and dinner options, all done with care and attention to detail.

Immaculately clean accommodations featured well-crafted decor with cozy touches. The scenic isolation provides a serene escape, complimented by a diverse breakfast menu emphasizing local produce.

While the single room provided a quiet retreat, the water pressure in the shower left much to be desired, making it a frustrating way to start the day. parking can be a hassle, as the limited space meant some awkward maneuvering to secure a spot. Lastly, the train noise passing nearby could be jarring to light sleepers, although it might not bother everyone.

staying at balsporran was a real treat! the beautifully refurbished house is a great spot for a break. my room was quiet, and the breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of ethically sourced options. the warm welcome and delicious food are hard to beat.

What a charming place! The cozy vibe made it feel like home. The food was amazing, with a hearty breakfast featuring their own chicken eggs, yum! The views are breathtaking, but the bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner. It's perfect for a peaceful getaway with nature at your doorstep.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free Wi-Fi, a cozy leisure room, and options for hiking. On my first visit, the staff kindly helped me find my lost barrette. I can't wait to return for Easter!
